Shot entirely on a VHS camera, “Tried, Failed” is a hazy snapshot of what trying—and breaking—can look like. The song pulses with loud guitars and aching vocals, but beneath the noise is a story: one about giving your all to something that still doesn’t last.

We leaned into that feeling by giving the video a home-video aesthetic. Fog, blur, grain—it’s not polished, and it wasn’t meant to be. It’s meant to feel found, like an artifact from a time when things almost worked.
